The Regensburg Center of Energy and Resources

The Regensburg Center of Energy and Resources (RCER) bundles since 2012 energy research activities of the Ostbayerischen Technischen Hochschule Regensburg (OTH Regensburg) and regional business enterprises.

For us, interdisciplinary research is no empty promise. The 8 faculties of the OTH Regensburg provide different angles on an issue. Research and Development of both mechanical and electrical engineering is complemented by IT solutions and analyses on economic viability, society’s acceptance as well as construction possibilities. 

Through intensive cooperation of the RCER with the Institute for Applied Research and Partnership with Industry (Institut für angewandte Forschung und Wirtschaftskooperation) and our partner university OTH Amberg-Weiden the broad topic of energy research is largely covered.
